Suzhou International Expo Center was designed by SOM from US, the same organization which designed HKCEC. The whole building has 5 exhibition halls of which 3 (Hall 3/4/5) were finished during phase I. The building will spread out be like a traditional Chinese fan after the completion of phase II construction.

The total floor space of phase I (Hall 3/4/5) is 185,000m2 which includes 70,000m2 indoor exhibition space and 9,500m2 convention area. Each hall has two floors (floor A/B) and all three halls can be either connected or separated using temporary walls according to requests of different shows.
